Powerlifting Total Calculator
Add your squat, bench press, and deadlift to calculate a powerlifting total, with optional bodyweight-adjusted scoring. Results update as you change an input.
What is a powerlifting total?
A powerlifting total is the sum of the best successful squat, bench press, and deadlift. Meet totals use lifts accepted under the rules of the relevant federation.
How is a powerlifting total calculated?
Add squat + bench press + deadlift in the same unit. A 405 lb squat, 275 lb bench, and 495 lb deadlift total 1,175 lb.
Does bodyweight affect a powerlifting total?
Bodyweight does not change the absolute total. DOTS, Classic Wilks, and IPF GL apply bodyweight- and category-specific coefficients so performances can be compared.
Raw vs equipped totals
Raw and equipped lifting are distinct competition categories. Compare like with like; the optional IPF GL result here uses classic/raw coefficients.
lb vs kg totals
The calculator converts with 1 kg = 2.2046226218 lb. Powerlifting meets normally record attempts and totals in kilograms.
