Event breakdown
How the Army Fitness Test is scored
The five events are worth 100 points each. Published thresholds are applied exactly, without interpolation. Every event must reach 60 points. Performance bars show position between published thresholds; they are not point percentages. The calculator always scores direct entries against an official published threshold.
General versus Combat standard
General uses M|C for men and F for women and requires 300 points. Combat is age-normed, sex-neutral, uses M|C, and requires 350 points. Users select the applicable standard.
The five AFT events
Three-repetition maximum deadlift, hand-release push-up with arm extension, sprint-drag-carry, plank, and two-mile run.
Alternate aerobic events
The 2.5-mile walk, 12 km bike, 1 km swim, and 5 km row are Go/No-Go profile alternatives. This calculator does not infer an official overall profile-test status.
AFT age groups
The official tables use ten age groups from 17–21 through Over 62. The AFT replaced the ACFT on June 1, 2025.
