How the Combat Field Test works

The CFT is one continuous test, and the Army’s official overall standard is 30:00 or faster. User-entered splits are a logging and training convenience. The Army does not assign points or published time standards to individual stations. This output is informational and is not an official Army test record.

The ordered split log above reproduces the published sequence and fixed requirements.

Who takes the CFT

The Army identifies these 24 designated combat specialties; this calculator does not decide who is obligated to test.
