Method and source scope
The PFT uses one upper-body event, the plank and an authorized aerobic event. Push-ups and pull-ups are alternatives; their scores are never added together. Push-ups have a 70-point maximum. The mandatory plank replaced crunches after 2022, and its table is age- and sex-neutral.
Every event must meet its published minimum, and the total must reach 150. Classifications are 150–199 third class, 200–234 second class and 235–300 first class. Failure of an event cannot be offset by a high total. For recruit scoring, select the 17–20 group regardless of actual age, as required by the supplied order.
MARADMIN 613/25 applies male, age-normed PFT tables to the listed combat-arms PMOSs from January 1, 2026, with a 210-point requirement. Select Combat arms only if applicable to you. This page reports ordinary PFT classification separately from meeting 210; it does not predict administrative actions or PMOS reclassification.
Use altitude run/row tables only under the order's altitude and acclimatization rules (4,500 feet or more). Rowing is limited to authorized alternatives, including qualifying age, medical and postpartum cases; selecting it does not establish authorization. Partial tests, waivers and administrative eligibility are outside this standard-test calculator.
